We’ve been on the road for a couple weeks now, so it’s no surprise that things are breaking. But today’s was a big one.

The main event is our first national park! We stayed at a campground that is barely outside the park boundary and thoroughly explored the Petrified Forest. There’s more than just mineralized wood to see here!

Route 66

We joined up with Route 66 and have started playing a fun game of i-spy, trying to find the road signs and make all the right turns. We’re stopping at all the photo ops we can, and I’m surprised at how much fun it’s been!
