November Recap
We moved a mountain this month! We pushed hard to get our house renovations completed, moved all our stuff in, and we even kept a baby alive while doing it. The secret to our success is exhaustion! Read all about it in today’s post!

What can we say about this month? It was a monster of a month, with some big changes for us. We’ve got our home base! Between that and a new baby, we’re staying very busy. But that’s not all we’ve got going on!
Our first month as a family of three has been the fastest, slowest month of my life! We didn’t stray too far from home this month, as we’re living our lives in three hour increments per the infant schedule. We did manage one big outing, with drone photos of the fall colors to prove it!
It’s possible we haven’t been completely honest about how our summer is going. Our little secret has been growing bigger and bigger, and getting harder to hide! It’s time to share: our next big adventure is here!
July in Michigan means the beginning of the harvest season! We picked lots of local fruits, and did some exploration in our VW bus this month. It’s been a hot but chill summer!
It was a hot month, but we enjoyed every minute of it! We had a delightfully social month, from friends and family to zoo animals! Big cats, little cats, drone shots, this blog post covers it all!
May was such a busy month! We took a delightful vacation, we got the VW bus out for a couple trips! We camped in the bus for the first time since October! And we celebrated so many birthdays, with so much good food! In some ways, life feels like it’s almost back to normal, but maybe the real change is that we’ve been spending so much time outside again!
We’re dipping our toes back into travel! We enjoyed a long week in Chattanooga, TN, including a ton of hiking, downtown explorations, and even a brewery or two! There’s so much to do and see in such a small area, with mountain views just minutes away from town. We stopped at every scenic overlook we could and have the photos to prove it!
The weather is getting warmer, so we’re getting outside more and more. Plus, this month we achieve fully vaccinated status. Mainly, this post is full of tulip photos because we took a quick trip to Tulip Time ahead of the festival opening. It was beautiful!
The crocuses are out, it’s officially spring and we’re loving every minute of it! We’re excited to get our first vaccine shots and hope for a more “normal” summer!
