Saturday I attended the Scuppernong River Festival. Ken and Kelly brought their 1966 Century Resorter to the parade, the grand marshal and his wife rode in the boat. If you’re looking for a vintage boat in great shape, this one is for sale!
Despite Tropical Storm Michael, we get Kyle to a train station and ship him off to Charleston so he can catch his flight to Minnesota.

This is our first offshore overnight passage, just the two of us. It’s strange how one of the most uneventful things we’ve done is also one of the most momentous.

Our last week in Charleston was an absolute flurry of activity. My last week of work, boat projects, both vehicles break down, visiting with friends, a hatch chile festival! and provisioning like we’re never going to see another store.
